I’m a designer, illustrator, strategist, and multi-passionate creative.
I run Me & Spirit Creative, a one-woman studio where I help passion-led business owners build brands that are thoughtful, expressive, and deeply aligned with who they are.
Through values-led brand strategy, bespoke design, soulful storytelling and a splash of creative magic, I help creatives like you bring all the threads of your work together — so your brand finally makes sense (to you and to your audience).
MY STORY
How I built a brand that finally felt like me
When I was younger, I used to spend hours drawing and making things — magazines, posters, imaginary businesses. But one day, in front of the whole class, my art teacher told me I couldn’t draw. That I wasn’t good enough to do art.
I stopped drawing after that.
It took me years to come back to my creativity — through music, through working in a charity marketing team, through anxiety and burnout and rediscovering what actually brought me joy. Reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert gave me permission to start again. Just for me.
I tried to do it the 'right' way — it didn’t work.
Eventually, drawing led to illustration. Illustration led to design. And design led to a fascination with branding. I poured myself into learning everything I could — watching tutorials, taking courses, obsessing over colours, stories, and structure. I launched Me & Spirit with the goal of helping other creatives feel proud of how they show up.
But when I started building my own brand, something felt… off.
I was following all the “proper” branding advice — niche down, find one message, focus your offer — and none of it worked for my messy, multi-passionate brain. Every time I tried to simplify, I lost something important.
So I stopped trying to fit into other people’s frameworks — and started building my own.
This is the work I was meant to do
Now, Me & Spirit is a creative studio that reflects my whole self — and it’s built on the belief that your brand can do the same. That you can have clarity and creative freedom. That your business can feel cohesive without being boxed in.
That you don’t have to dilute your creativity to be taken seriously.
Today, I get to work with passion-led creatives, makers, artists, and multi-hyphenates to build brands that are thoughtful, expressive, and full of personality — without compromising what makes them unique.
And honestly? That feels like the best kind of magic.

MEET SPIRIT THE CAT
The story behind the name
Spirit is my very lovely little black cat — and the official office assistant here at Me & Spirit. I found her in a local animal shelter nearly a decade ago, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
She keeps me company while I work (usually by sitting directly on my sketchbook or keyboard), knocks pens off the desk at least twice a day, and frequently makes appearances on Zoom calls — uninvited, of course. Basically, she’s the perfect creative sidekick.
But the name Me & Spirit means more than just me and my cat.
It’s a nod to the kind of creativity I believe in — intuitive, expressive, a little bit messy, and deeply personal. It’s about making space for the whole of you in your brand. Not just the polished parts, but the spark, the scrappiness, the gut instinct that says “this feels right.”
So yes — it’s me, it’s Spirit-the-cat, and it’s the spirit of creativity that runs through everything I do.

I say no to that.

Things that probably won't fit on a CV
I once raised £3k for charity by hiking up three Icelandic volcanoes. Turns out fundraising and mildly reckless adventure pair quite well.
My art teacher once told me I couldn’t draw. (Spoiler: I can. And now I’ve won awards for it.)
I’m a self-taught designer — my first paid project was illustrating a book about mental health for teenagers.
Spirit-the-cat’s paw is tattooed on my arm. Not metaphorically — literally. Because she’s always standing on it anyway.
I dislocated my knee walking down an empty corridor. Two weeks before my wedding. Yes, I hobbled down the aisle.
I once drank 18 cups of tea in a single day. Would I do it again? Probably.
